Our Process

• Test and assess - we check the water and the equipment to see how deep the problem goes and what it'll take
• Shock treatment - a heavy, correctly dosed chlorine treatment to kill the algae
• Balance the chemistry - pH and alkalinity corrected so the treatment actually works instead of burning off
• Run and clean the filter - the filter does the heavy lifting; we keep it running and clean it as it loads up with dead algae
• Vacuum the debris - dead algae vacuumed off the floor, to waste when needed
• Re-test and hand it back - final balance so it stays clear, not just clear for a day

How Long It Takes

Most pools clear within a few days once treatment starts - the exact timeline depends on how green it got, your filter, and how much you can run the equipment. Deep, dark green with poor circulation takes longer than a pool that just turned in the last week. We'll give you an honest read after we see it.

What We Need From You

Working equipment and power, and the ability to run your pump for extended hours during the recovery - circulation and filtration are what actually clear the water. If your pump or filter isn't working, that comes first, and we can handle that too.

What We Don't Do

We service in-ground residential pools only - not above-ground, commercial, indoor, or grotto pools, and not pools with equipment inside a home or basement. If your pool is outside our scope, we'll tell you upfront.
